Guide of Valencia

The Miguelete, is the bell tower of the Cathedral of Valencia, octagonal base, a Valencian Gothic style, of 50.85 meters, was conducted between 1381 and 1424 by Andy Julia. It can be accessed by a steep staircase.

Has eleven bells, distributed according to their usos.En medieval times spoke of «zinc senys els i will morlanes system», in more recent times of «the big five and the six sopranos». The oldest is the Caterina, 1305, so far the oldest in use throughout the Crown of Aragon, while the newest is the Violant, 1735. The other sopranos are Ursula, 1438, La Barbera, 1681, Pau, Arcís 1489 and 1529. From large, the Vincent is 1569, the Andreu, 1604, Emanuel, 1621, the 1429 James and Mary, 1544.
