It is the busiest beach in Jávea, where stands the one Parador exists on the Costa Blanca.
It is the best known and frequented by the only sandy beach in the municipality. Next to it is a channel that provides access to the sea for small boats. At its northern end lies the Punta de Arenal, where the Parador Hotel. At its southern end is located the Mirador Punta del Castell.
